Job Title: Compliance and Building Safety Manager

Reports to: Director of Housing

Salary: PO3, Points 38-41, £37,480 - £40,778 per annum, pro rata

Hours of work: Full Time (37.5 hours per week)

Purpose of the Role:

As a key member of the St Basils team, you will be responsible for ensuring that the organization meets all compliance and building safety requirements set out in legislation and applicable regulations. This will involve working closely with various stakeholders to ensure that our properties and services meet the highest standards of safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement compliance and building safety strategies to ensure that St Basils meets all relevant legislative and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure that our properties and services meet the highest standards of safety and compliance.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including facilities management and maintenance, to ensure that all aspects of building safety and compliance are addressed.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on compliance and building safety procedures and protocols.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in legislation and regulations and ensure that St Basils is compliant with all relevant requirements.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of compliance and building safety regulations and a proven track record of ensuring compliance in a similar role. You will also need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
