Project Manager Job Description

Access Talent Group is seeking a skilled Project Manager to join our team in Scotland. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing projects to achieve customer objectives, while maintaining high standards of health and safety, quality, environmental impact, and cost control.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with design teams, site teams, and clients to build strong working relationships and deliver projects on time.
  • Lead by example and maintain the company culture, ensuring that all projects align with our values.
  • Understand commercial requirements, including contract conditions and specifications, and have a good knowledge of health and safety legislation.
  • Apply project management principles, health and safety, and environmental legislation to ensure safe and successful project delivery.
  • Ensure that safety is the top priority and enforce rigorous HSEQ processes and procedures.
  • Implement quality control and ensure that quality control on projects is maintained and documented correctly.
Requirements:
  • Post-qualification experience in project management or programme management.
  • Sound knowledge and practiced experience of project management techniques.
  • Ability to administer construction contracts as Contract Administrator, Employer's Agent, and/or Project Manager.
  • Clear understanding of legislation impacting on building contracts.
  • Excellent problem-solving, negotiating, financial, and numeracy skills.
  • Sound ICT skills, with a high proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Salary and Benefits:

£40,000 to £50,000 Per Annum
