Key Responsibilities
  • Employee Relations Case Management: Proactively support managers and provide expert advice and guidance on employee relation topics, including disciplinary, performance, and absence management, and grievances.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with other members of the HR team to ensure a high-quality service is delivered to the business.
  • Complex Case Resolution: Resolve escalated and complex employee relations queries efficiently.
  • Workload Management: Work pro-actively to minimize employee relations casework and outstanding workload.
  • Compliance and Governance: Ensure employment law, best practice, and company policies are always adhered to.
  • HR Projects and Administration: Undertake HR projects and other administrative tasks as required.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to support business needs.
  • Service Level Agreements: Strive to meet HR service level agreements and objectives.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Maintain communication and collaboration with key departments.
  • Compliance and Documentation: Responsible for the compliance of all personnel documentation, processes, and procedures within regulatory frameworks.
Candidate Requirements
  • Qualifications and Experience: Level 5/3 CIPD qualification is desired, although not essential. Experience in employee relations case management and complex case work is required.
  • Initiative and Problem-Solving: Ability to use your own initiative to evaluate and mitigate cases appropriately.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organizational and Time Management: Highly organized with the ability to multi-task.
  • Adaptability and Flexibility: Able to adapt to changing business needs.
  • Problem-Solving and Attention to Detail: Practical problem-solving approach with great attention to detail.
  • Employment Law and Best Practice: Excellent understanding of employment law and best practice.
