Head of Financial Planning & Analysis - A Key Role for a Commercial Organisation

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing commercial organisation as the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A). Working within a fast-paced environment, you will manage a small team whilst supporting the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in driving the business forward. There are numerous commercial projects currently in the mix, and this will certainly be a satisfying role for the successful individual.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Full responsibility for all FP&A activities, including financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Develop and maintain financial models and reports to support business decision-making.
  • Attend and present at board meetings, providing financial insights and recommendations.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management at all levels, including senior management and external partners.
  • Further develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure business performance.
  • Drive change and process improvement initiatives to enhance business efficiency.
  • Manage a small team of financial analysts and planners.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with an extensive background in FP&A, and someone who is accurate with numbers and has a commercial mindset. They will be able to provide strategic financial guidance and support to the business, and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
