About the Role

Bombardier is seeking a skilled Line Station Aircraft Mechanic to join our team at the Biggin Hill Service Center. As a Line Station Aircraft Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing maintenance tasks on business aircraft, adhering to Bombardier's Maintenance Organization Procedures, and ensuring all work is completed in a safe and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform maintenance tasks on business aircraft, including troubleshooting, repairs, and inspections
  • Adhere to Bombardier's Maintenance Organization Procedures and relevant work instructions
  • Comply with Environmental / Health / Safety policies and procedures
  • Identify defective aircraft components and order parts as needed
  • Carry out maintenance tasks to the standard specified in the Maintenance Data under supervision of Certifying Staff/Support Staff
  • Report discrepancies and maintenance errors
  • Properly process removed, uninstalled, and rejected parts
  • Correct defects under supervision of Certifying Staff/Support Staff
Requirements
  • Recent experience in a line maintenance environment, ideally within the last 3 years and for a minimum period of 6 months
  • Recent experience working on business aircraft
  • A License
  • Basic understanding of the requirements of Appendix I to Part-66
  • Good knowledge of Part-145
  • Knowledge on EWIS and CDCCL when relevant
  • Knowledge on, and practicing of, human factors, human performance, and limitations
  • Ability to interpret and work with engineering drawings
  • Ability to effectively communicate in both written and verbal form on individual task status
  • Ability to use standard tools, special tools, and to operate ground support equipment
  • Ability to identify and rectify existing and potential unsafe conditions
  • Experience understanding critical tasks
  • Basic PC skills
  • Valid UK Driving License as this role will require you to drive airside
