Aircraft Maintenance Technician Job Description

Bombardier's Biggin Hill Service Centre is a leading maintenance facility in Europe, providing top-notch services to business aircraft operators. As an Aircraft Maintenance Technician, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for ensuring the airworthiness of aircraft.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to Bombardier's Maintenance Organisation Procedures and relevant work instructions.
  • Comply with Environmental, Health, and Safety policies and procedures, participating in 5-S activities.
  • Perform and document work according to approved maintenance data.
  • Identify defective aircraft components and order parts in SAP.
  • Carry out maintenance tasks under supervision and notify supervisors of defects or mistakes.
  • Report discrepancies and properly process removed, uninstalled, and rejected parts.
  • Correct defects under supervision and report maintenance errors.
Requirements:
  • Some civil maintenance experience.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of basic requirements of Appendix I to Part-66.
  • Basic knowledge of Part-145.
  • Knowledge of EWIS and CDCCL when relevant.
  • Knowledge of human factors, human performance, and limitations.
  • Ability to interpret and work with engineering drawings.
  • Effective communication skills in written and verbal form.
  • Ability to use standard tools, special tools, and operate ground support equipment.
