About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Ecological Consultant to join our Environment Team at Locogen. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering the ecological elements of renewable energy projects for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Ornithological Impact Assessments and Collision Risk Modelling (CRM) for renewable energy projects
  • Develop and implement Habitat Regulations Assessment (HRA) and Ecological Impact Assessments (EcIA) for UK developments
  • Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and contractors to ensure successful project delivery
  • Manage ecological and ornithological projects, including health and safety management and risk assessments
Requirements
  • Membership of the Chartered Institute for Ecology and Environmental Management (CIEEM) or similar
  • Current Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card
  • Working knowledge of Bat Assessment for Onshore Wind projects, including bat call analysis with Kaleidoscope software
  • Strong communication and project management skills
