Accountancy - Financial Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Manager to join our team at the Association of Legal Compliance & Accounts. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial transactions and internal operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Financial Transactions: Manage and process financial transactions, including posting accounting entries, reconciliations, and bank payments, in accordance with SRA Accounts Rules.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial reports, including daily, weekly, and monthly audit trails, to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support business decisions, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost management.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with SRA Accounts Rules, money laundering regulations, and other relevant laws and regulations.
- Team Support: Provide ad-hoc support to the team as needed, including training and guidance on financial procedures and systems.
- Experience: Previous experience working as a Legal Finance Manager or Legal Cashier, with a strong understanding of SRA Accounts Rules and money laundering requirements.
- Skills: Strong computer skills, including the use of computerized accounting software, and knowledge of ALB would be an advantage.
- Education: Relevant qualifications in accounting or finance, such as ACCA or CIMA.
- Personal Qualities: A positive, friendly, and flexible manner, with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
