The role of Professional Services Coordinator is vital for Optical Express, as the team ensures that our professional staff is effectively scheduled to meet business and patient requirements. This position will be based at our Head Office in Cumbernauld.

Key Responsibilities -

  • Maintain the Optometrist database
  • Optimize the scheduling of Optometrists within the designated region
  • Timely approval of holiday requests
  • Support client relationship management with the Self-Employed Optometrist network to ensure coverage at short notice
  • Regularly communicate with the regional team to ensure effective utilization of Optometrists
  • Adopt a commercially aware, proactive, and adaptable approach to work
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Perform general administrative tasks
  • Effectively communicate with senior management and qualified healthcare professionals
