Fleet Operations Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Fleet Administrator to join our team at XPO Transport Solutions UK Limited. As a key member of our transport team, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our fleet and providing exceptional support to our drivers and customers.
Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative support to the transport team, including updating our fleet management system with accurate and timely information.
- Review Vehicle On-Road (VOR) lists daily and challenge any vehicles in Vehicle Management Unit (VMU) for more than 2 days, in the absence of the Fleet Manager.
- Ensure repairs are made as quickly as possible and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
- Arrange alternative repair agents when required to minimize downtime.
- Conduct daily yard walks to identify visual standards of the fleet and any new damage, including visits to VMU to discuss daily programs with UK Trucks (in the Fleet Manager's absence).
- Assist the Fleet Manager in proactively chasing suppliers of VOR equipment, especially tail lifts and fridges, and record conversations and advise Transport Management of long-term issues.
- Update records regarding vehicles registered on our O-licences and insurance policies.
- Ensure all vehicles are taxed and road-related charges and accounts are paid.
- Attention to detail is critical, and you will need to be organized and methodical.
- Strong administration skills are highly desirable, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Past experience in transport would be highly beneficial.
