Job Title: Grounds Maintenance Team Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Grounds Maintenance Team Leader to join our Commercial team in Coventry. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading a team of grounds maintenance operatives and ensuring the effective management of programmed maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Contract Manager and Supervisor in the management of programmed maintenance
  • Lead by example with grounds maintenance work and maintain the security of vehicles, plant, and equipment
  • Complete daily check sheets and paperwork to ensure the smooth running of operations
  • Support and guide the service delivery team, including grounds maintenance operatives
  • Monitor staff timekeeping, holidays, and sickness levels
Requirements:
  • Skilled in grounds maintenance operations with awareness of Health and Safety Legislation
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Supervisory/leadership experience an advantage
  • Full clean UK driving licence required for ride-on mowers and company vehicles/tow trailers
  • Certified in PA1 & PA6 desirable
