Job Description
We are seeking a Facilities Maintenance Operative to become a vital part of our team within an educational environment in East Manchester. Reporting directly to the Facilities Manager, your primary responsibilities will encompass maintenance services for the building, ensuring that all tasks are executed effectively. The ideal candidate will possess relevant experience in a comparable position, exhibit strong communication abilities, and maintain a customer-centric approach.
- Coordinate with the EWFM Helpdesk for system reporting
- Conduct regular health and safety assessments
- Assist with client activities and contribute to the development of the premises
- Perform maintenance inspections and necessary repairs
- Deliver portering and cleaning services
The successful applicant will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS check. The position entails 37.5 working hours per week, from Monday to Friday, with the possibility of additional hours for coverage. We provide a competitive salary along with a comprehensive benefits package.
