Accident and Health Reinsurance Solutions Specialist

Aon is currently seeking a highly skilled Account Manager to join our UK Accident & Heath Reinsurance Solutions technical support team in London.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with the broking team to market treaty reinsurance placements, involving communication with clients, colleagues from regional Aon offices, and reinsurers.
- Provide detailed technical advice on contractual matters, including drafting of slips & contracts, bespoke clauses, and provisions as required.
- Negotiate contract content with clients and reinsurers throughout the placement process.
- Produce contractual documentation, including contract wordings, endorsements, and evidence of cover.
- Analyze data for client and market submissions, offering insights where necessary.
- Liaise with brokers, account executives, account managers, analytics teams, clients, and reinsurers regarding submission information, portfolio developments, contract wordings, and their impact on reinsurance.
- Resolve client and reinsurer queries, involving liaison with colleagues in other departments as needed.
- Support brokers in delivering Aon products and tools efficiently.
- Maintain data within Aon's IT systems.
- Work in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework and comply with Aon UK Limited policies, including risk management and mandatory training.
- Relevant experience in Reinsurance broking, preferably in Accident & Heath business.
- Ability to lead technical conversations internally and in the marketplace.
- Education to A Level standard or equivalent.
- Good interpersonal skills, including effective communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work well as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Good level of numeracy.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of London (re)insurance market dynamics and core processes.
- Technical (re)insurance knowledge.
- Demonstrate integrity and professionalism.
- Competency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment.
