Accident and Health Reinsurance Solutions Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Account Manager to join our UK Accident & Heath Reinsurance Solutions technical support team in London. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical and administrative support in the placing and servicing of treaty reinsurance placements.
Key Responsibilities- Work closely with the broking team to ensure a high level of technical advice and professional service is given to clients.
- Provide detailed technical advice on contractual matters, including drafting of slips & contracts, bespoke clauses and provisions as required.
- Negotiate on the content of contracts with clients and reinsurers throughout the placement process.
- Produce contractual documentation, including contract wordings, endorsements and evidence of cover.
- Collect and analyze data necessary for client and market submissions and presentations, offering insight where required.
- Liaise with brokers, account executives, account managers, analytics teams, clients and reinsurers regarding submission information, portfolio developments, contract wordings and the resulting impact on reinsurance.
- Resolve queries received from clients and reinsurers, involving liaison with colleagues within other departments as necessary.
- Support brokers by ensuring the efficient delivery of all Aon products and tools.
- Populate and maintain data within Aon's IT systems.
- Relevant experience working in Reinsurance broking, ideally within Accident & Heath business.
- Ability to lead technical conversations both internally and in the marketplace.
- Education to A Level standard or equivalent.
- Good interpersonal skills, including effective communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work well as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Good level of numeracy.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of London (re)insurance market dynamics and core processes.
- Technical (re)insurance knowledge.
- Demonstrate integrity and professionalism.
- Competency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
