The successful candidate will be responsible for efficiently and accurately typing clinical correspondence and delivering clerical support to various specialties within the field of Ophthalmology.

This role requires flexibility, as you will be assisting in multiple areas based on service level objectives, providing essential typing and clerical assistance.

You will collaborate closely with the management team and will be assigned to areas that require immediate clerical support. While you will not have budgetary control, it is important to remain aware of budget constraints within the Ophthalmology department.

The postholder will work collaboratively as part of a team to ensure that the clinical support needs of the department are met, maintaining continuity of service delivery through effective communication with both internal and external stakeholders.

Note: As this position is part-time, the salary will be calculated on a pro-rata basis.
