Clinical Fellow in Ophthalmology

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Clinical Fellow to join our team at Mountainhall Treatment Centre in Dumfries, Scotland.
The successful candidate will work alongside our experienced Ophthalmology Consultants, providing high-quality care to patients and contributing to the development of our ophthalmology service.
The role will involve clinic work, assisting in theatre, and taking phone calls from wards, GP surgeries, and the Emergency Department. There will also be opportunities for quality improvement projects within the ophthalmology department.
Our department provides an ophthalmology service for the Dumfries and Galloway region, with out-patient clinics and day cases undertaken at Mountainhall Treatment Centre, Dumfries. Theatre and Acute Service are undertaken in the new Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary and the Galloway Community Hospital (GCH) in Stranraer.

To be eligible for this role, you must hold full GMC registration and a license to practice. You must also have completed foundation training or equivalent.
