As a key member of the academic leadership team, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic direction and academic leadership to the programme, ensuring its continued success and growth.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide academic leadership and direction to the MBBS programme, ensuring alignment with the university's strategic objectives.
- Develop and implement curriculum plans, ensuring they meet the GMC Outcomes for Graduates and are in line with best practices in medical education.
- Lead and manage a team of academic staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning experiences.
- Collaborate with other stakeholders, including clinicians, researchers, and industry partners, to ensure the programme remains relevant and effective.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including students, alumni, and external partners.
- Ensure the programme meets the required quality assurance standards, including those set by the GMC and the university.
**Requirements**
- Doctoral degree in Medicine or a related field.
- Proven experience in academic leadership, preferably in a medical education setting.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
