We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to join our team at Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Mental Health Service, you will be responsible for providing high-quality psychological assessments, interventions, and consultations to patients in crisis.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement effective psychological therapies for patients with complex mental health needs.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and support to patients and their families.
- Conduct thorough assessments and develop treatment plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
- Provide consultation and supervision to junior staff members and other healthcare professionals.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote best practice in mental health care.
- Doctoral-level qualification in Clinical or Counselling Psychology from an accredited institution.
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a Practitioner Psychologist.
- Proven experience in crisis intervention and management, with a strong understanding of mental health legislation and policies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
