We are in search of a committed and dynamic Hotel General Manager to oversee a thriving 4-star establishment in Leeds. This contemporary venue features a cutting-edge health club, a vibrant Sports Bar, a full-service Restaurant, a Co-Working Space, and a robust functions and events division. As the General Manager, you will guide a team of 9 department heads and approximately 100 staff members, playing a crucial role in leading and mentoring your teams across all areas to guarantee that guests enjoy an outstanding experience during every visit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet and surpass ambitious revenue objectives in this hotel with a turnover exceeding £5 million.
- Achieve exceptional guest satisfaction ratings, as well as high scores in external and internal audits.
- Ensure adherence to brand standards and operational protocols throughout the property.
- Formulate and execute localized business strategies aimed at enhancing revenue and profitability.
- Establish and nurture vital partnerships within the business and sporting sectors.
- Manage budgetary responsibilities, including financial reporting and performance presentations.
- Collaborate closely with the Operations and Marketing teams to maximize hotel performance.
- Balance a strong corporate and leisure clientele by working a mix of shifts, including every other weekend.
In addition to a competitive base salary of up to £80,000, there is an annual bonus potential of up to £15,000. Significant benefits include BUPA healthcare, 5 weeks of annual leave plus bank holidays with the option to purchase an additional 5 days, complimentary leisure club membership, and substantial discounts on hotel stays across the UK.
