We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Junior Sister/Charge Nurse to join our Endoscopy Unit team at Barts Health NHS Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, assisting with procedures, and working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized, holistic patient care to patients attending the endoscopy unit
  • Assist with endoscopic procedures, including colonoscopy, gastroscopy, bronchoscopy, ERCP, endoscopic ultrasound, and others
  • Supervise and coordinate the unit, ensuring efficient and effective use of resources
  • Develop and implement plans to improve patient care and outcomes
  • Collaborate with the clinical governance group to ensure high standards of care and patient safety
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse with at least 2 years' experience in endoscopy-related practice
  • Relevant courses and training in endoscopy procedures and patient care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
