Full-time, day shift. Monday to Friday, with negotiable start times. Potential for Fridays off based on agreed start time.

Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled CMM Programmer for a prominent aerospace engineering firm located in Darlaston. This opportunity has arisen due to the company's growth, and we are in search of a candidate with substantial expertise in metrology and precision engineering.

Key Duties:
1. Program, configure, and operate CMMs and Keyence machinery.
2. Generate comprehensive inspection documentation.
3. Conduct manual quality assessments.
4. Identify and resolve issues with non-conforming components.
5. Collaborate closely with engineering and departmental leaders to ensure compliance with product standards.

Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in metrology and CMM programming within a precision engineering setting.
- Expertise in setting up, operating, and programming CMMs.
- Solid background in quality assurance in a precision engineering environment.
- Familiarity with traditional inspection instruments such as micrometers, verniers, calipers, and pin gauges.
- Ability to interpret and analyze engineering schematics.
- Strong teamwork skills to effectively engage with various departments to meet organizational goals.
