Work Schedule:
Full-time, day shift. Monday to Friday, with a negotiable start time. Potential for Fridays off based on the agreed start time.

Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled CMM Programmer for a leading aerospace engineering firm situated in Darlaston. This opportunity has arisen due to the company's growth, and we are in search of a candidate with substantial expertise in metrology and precision engineering.

Key Duties:
1. Program, set up, and operate CMMs and Keyence equipment.
2. Generate comprehensive inspection reports.
3. Conduct manual quality assessments.
4. Evaluate and resolve issues with non-conforming components.
5. Collaborate closely with engineering and departmental leaders to ensure product compliance with standards.

Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in metrology and CMM programming within a precision engineering setting.
- Proficient in the setup, operation, and programming of CMMs.
- Strong foundation in quality assurance in a precision engineering environment.
- Familiarity with traditional inspection instruments such as micrometers, verniers, calipers, and pin gauges.
- Capability to read and interpret engineering schematics.
- Excellent teamwork skills to effectively engage with various departments to meet organizational goals.
