Senior Network Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to join our team at James Adams, a leading provider of cutting-edge financial services. As a Senior Network Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and managing our network infrastructure to ensure it operates at peak performance.
Key Responsibilities:- Design, configure, and manage Cisco-based network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless networks.
- Monitor network performance, identify issues, and implement solutions to optimize performance and reliability.
- Troubleshoot network problems and outages, working quickly to resolve issues and minimize downtime.
- Implement and manage network security protocols, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems, to protect data integrity and privacy.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to support system integration, upgrades, and deployments.
- Document network configurations, changes, and procedures to ensure accurate records and compliance with industry standards.
- Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Stay updated with the latest Cisco technologies and industry trends, applying this knowledge to enhance network performance and security.
- Proven experience as a Senior Network Engineer or similar role, with a strong background in designing and managing Cisco networks.
- Proficiency in network protocols, including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and VLANs.
- Experience with network security tools and practices, including VPNs, firewalls, and IDS/IPS systems.
- CCNA, CCNP) are highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues.
