Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning and maintenance of flowers, plants, and trees to create a visually appealing and well-manicured environment.
  • Perform regular watering, pruning, and weeding to ensure the gardens are tidy and vibrant.
  • Maintain lawns, hedges, and other green areas to create a safe and welcoming space for residents.
  • Operate and maintain gardening equipment and tools to ensure efficient and effective gardening practices.
  • Assist in the implementation of landscaping projects to enhance the overall aesthetic of the village.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure the gardens meet the expectations and preferences of our residents.
  • Follow health and safety guidelines to create a safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
  • Perform additional duties as required, such as changing light bulbs in residents' rooms during the winter months.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in gardening or landscaping is preferred, but not required.
  • A passion for working with plants and creating beautiful outdoor spaces.
  • Basic knowledge of gardening techniques and plant care.
  • Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions.
  • Physical stamina to perform gardening tasks, including lifting and operating equipment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to garden maintenance.
