Process Technician – Water Recycling Specialist

About the Role

The Process Operator has a responsibility to ensure that our Water Recycling treatment processes and systems are serviced and maintained within the relevant regulatory compliance. You will operate and maintain our assets, including tanks, pumps, screens, blowers, valves, motors, flowmeters, compressors, and much more. You will perform preventative and reactive servicing and maintenance, such as lubrication on the systems above. You will also carry out process sampling to ensure things are operating as they should be and escalate any issues. You will comply with company safety policy & procedures as well as maintain good housekeeping. You will explore and ensure that we maintain the lowest possible energy demands without compromising compliance. In this role, you must be able to work within a confined space, and at height without restrictions. Due to harness weight limits, your maximum weight cannot be in excess of 113 kilograms, and you will be expected to complete relevant occupational health checks.

About You

We are looking for a hardworking, proactive, and self-motivated individual who wants to learn new processes. You will have experience of working in a process environment, although this is not essential. You will have a good understanding of Health & Safety and must have a Full UK Manual Driving Licence. You will be competent with IT systems, a problem solver, with the ability to work quickly and using your own initiative. You will be an excellent team player, demonstrating an enthusiastic and proactive approach. You will possess good interpersonal skills, along with excellent organisational skills and job prioritisation. You will have good communication, flexibility, and reliability are essential for this position.
