An international battery company is currently looking to hire a Process Commissioning Manager to lead the commissioning of manufacturing processes at their UK-based site.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements for each unit process and integrated process, ensuring clarity on acceptance criteria for operational and product qualification stages.
  • Develop and deliver a comprehensive commissioning plan for the manufacturing processes.
  • Form and lead an integrated team dedicated to driving and executing a complex process commissioning plan.
  • Create processes and help build large-scale manufacturing lines from the ground up.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading commissioning activities for a large cell assembly manufacturing site.

  • Understanding of the Control of Major Accident Hazards (COMAH) regulations and their implications on site startup and ongoing operations.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Pre Start-Up Safety Review (PSSR) process and experience in safely introducing hazardous materials into operational environments.
  • Familiarity with procedures and best practices for the transfer of Care, Custody, and Control within manufacturing and operational contexts.
