Job Overview

The Engineering Division is seeking a dedicated Engineering Laboratory Support Technician to enhance our team.

In this role, you will collaborate with a vibrant faculty group specializing in Optical and Electrical Engineering, providing crucial technical assistance in several key areas:

  • Overseeing and managing Optical Engineering laboratories
  • Ensuring the upkeep of Electrical and Electronics Engineering laboratories
  • Offering technical support to faculty in leveraging technology for educational and administrative tasks

We emphasize high-quality teaching and research across various engineering disciplines, including semiconductor electronics, artificial intelligence, bioengineering, and advanced materials for applications in healthcare, signal processing, and aerospace.

The Engineering Division supports undergraduate programs in Optical Engineering and Electrical Engineering, as well as graduate programs in Electronics Engineering and Materials Science.

Required Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess a high school diploma, relevant certifications, or practical experience demonstrating proficiency in electronic equipment usage and maintenance, along with a strong command of Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Skills

We seek candidates with exceptional communication abilities, strong organizational skills for managing extensive databases or inventories, and hands-on experience with optoelectronic components, semiconductor fabrication tools, or academic laboratory apparatus.
