KS2 Teacher Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate KS2 Teacher to join our vibrant primary school community in Maidstone. As a KS2 Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational journey of our students, fostering a love for learning, and promoting academic excellence.

About the Role

As a KS2 Teacher, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing high-quality education to students in the Early Years Foundation Stage, promoting teamwork, and creating a conducive learning environment.
  • Teaching the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum, focusing on individual learning targets, and encouraging students' strengths and weaknesses.
  • Developing maths ability, introducing fractions, statistics, and geometry, and helping students develop their writing skills.
  • Monitoring students' progress and reporting back to parents.

Our school is a 4-form entry school located in a lovely residential area of Maidstone. We pride ourselves on creating a friendly environment that welcomes early career teachers (ECTs) with open arms. Our school aspires to develop well-rounded, confident pupils through its supportive pastoral environment.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Relevant qualifications (Experienced teachers as well as ECTs are welcome to apply).
  • The ability to commute to Maidstone via public transport.
  • The confidence to hit the ground running, proactively lead a class, and manage behaviour in line with school behaviour policies.
