Service Desk Support Specialist

Location: Based from our North Tynside or Thatcham office, requiring commutable distance
Salary: £22,308 to £24,000, depending on skills and experience
About the RoleWe're seeking a skilled Service Desk Engineer to join our End User Support team. As a key member of our team, you'll provide technical support and maintenance to our IT business users, systems, hardware, and applications.
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert technical support and resolve incidents and requests efficiently and professionally
- Ensure service level commitments are met
- Work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals
- Develop and maintain knowledge of Windows operating systems and network technologies
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Previous customer service experience with a passion for delivering excellent customer experiences
- Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems and network technologies
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, including a great telephone manner and strong written skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- IT certifications, such as CompTIA A+, are a bonus
