Job Title: Service Desk Engineer

Hours: 37.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday

Location: Based from our North Tynside or Thatcham office, requiring commutable distance

Salary: £22,308 to £24,000, depending on skills and experience

About the Role

We're seeking a skilled Service Desk Engineer to join our End User Support team. As a key member of our team, you'll provide technical support and maintenance to our IT business users, systems, hardware, and applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert technical support and resolve incidents and requests efficiently and professionally
  • Ensure service level commitments are met
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of Windows operating systems and network technologies
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Previous customer service experience with a passion for delivering excellent customer experiences
  • Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems and network technologies
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, including a great telephone manner and strong written skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • IT certifications, such as CompTIA A+, are a bonus
