Key Responsibilities- Develop and Execute a Strategic Sales Plan: Collaborate with our Marketing Manager to create and execute a comprehensive sales strategy that expands our customer base and achieves growth plans.
- Build and Maintain Professional Relationships: Meet with potential clients to develop long-lasting professional relationships and identify new business opportunities.
- Recruit and Develop Sales Talent: Recruit, train, and coach sales representatives to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to meet their objectives.
- Identify and Address Knowledge Gaps: Identify knowledge gaps within the team and develop plans to fill them, ensuring that our sales team has the necessary skills and expertise to succeed.
- Monitor and Improve Performance: Regularly review sales performance and identify areas for improvement, developing plans to address underperformance and ensure that company quotas are met.
- Manage the Sales Process: Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring that sales data is accurate and up-to-date.
- Extensive Sales Management Experience: Proven track record of success in sales management, with a hands-on consultative approach.
- Industry Experience: Ideal industry experience would come from industrial, engineered products, or machinery into regulated manufacturing environments.
- Proven Sales Strategy and Process Design: Proven record of success in designing and implementing sales strategy and processes.
- Exceptional Relationship Building Skills: Strong ability to build strategic relationships and negotiate deals.
- Leadership and Coaching Skills: Excellent leadership, mentoring, and coaching skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
- Flexibility and Travel: Flexibility to travel nationally and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Salary: £65,000-£75,000 per annum, depending on experience.
- Car Allowance: £6,000 per annum.
- Bonus: Eligible for a bonus scheme.
- Lunch Allowance: Provided.
- Laptop and Phone: Provided.
- Holidays: 22 days per annum, plus statutory holidays and an additional day for your birthday.
- Profit Share Scheme: Eligible for a profit share scheme.
