JGA Recruitment Group is partnering exclusively with a leading retail brand to find a Payroll Manager on a fixed-term contract. The successful candidate will oversee the Payroll Operations Function, managing a team and ensuring the smooth running of payroll processes for over 5,000 employees.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage the overall payroll operations of two internal payroll functions
• Provide legislative and technical payroll advice
• Assist with internal and external audits
• Train and develop payroll team members

Requirements:
• CIPP or equivalent Payroll Manager Qualification or relevant experience
• Extensive payroll management experience in a high-volume setting, with a minimum of 5,000 employees
• Knowledge of payroll practices, HMRC issues, and year-end processes
• Advanced Excel and reporting/analysis skills
