Job Title: Junior Field Service Engineer Solar

Location: Bristol, with commutable options from Bath, Swindon, and Weston-super-Mare

Salary: £26,000 - £28,000 + Bonus + Vehicle + Pension + Excellent Holidays + Overtime + Training

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for an early-career electrical professional to join a leading renewable energy specialist. As a Junior Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for completing on-site activities, including visual inspections, meter readings, and maintenance tasks. You will work alongside experienced field service engineers to ensure the optimal performance of solar farms across Europe.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform visual inspections of solar assets and report findings to the main team
  • Conduct routine maintenance activities on module mounting systems, fence and gates, inverters, and transformer stations
  • Identify and address issues on PV systems as a first responder

Requirements:

  • Basic electrical knowledge and experience
  • NVQ Level 1 or 2 (desirable)
  • Clean UK driving licence
