We are seeking an experienced Senior Account Handler to join our team at Ecclesiastical Insurance Group. As a key member of our commercial insurance team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of high-value clients, providing expert advice and guidance on their insurance needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Account Management: Manage a portfolio of high-value clients, providing expert advice and guidance on their insurance needs.
  • Renewal Management: Oversee the preparation and sign-off of renewal schedule documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Negotiation and Communication: Negotiate alternative quotes with insurance companies, deal with all documentation, invoices, and credit notes, and liaise with the Claims and Underwriting teams to ensure efficient and timely claims handling.
  • Credit Control: Operate an effective credit control system, reporting as required.
  • Team Collaboration: Liaise with the other Scottish regional office in Edinburgh to coordinate the management of renewals and provide/receive intra-office support as appropriate.
Requirements
  • Broking Experience: Proven experience in commercial insurance broking, preferably with experience in farm and estate, high net worth personal lines insurance, and/or property and liability insurance.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Strong knowledge of a wide range of farm/commercial/household insurance products and companies, experience in dealing with open market and delegated authority business, and good confident customer skills – both written and oral.
  • Insurance Qualifications: Insurance qualifications, such as the Cert CII, are highly desirable.
