About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Process Analyst to join our Specialty Business Solutions team. As a Business Process Analyst, you will play a key role in delivering excellent service to our clients by analyzing and improving our business processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Service Request Processing
    • Process complex service requests, including those requiring analysis and problem-solving skills.
    • Act as a natural escalation point for queries from junior team members.
  • Assist with Management of Service Operations
    • Monitor, prioritize, and manage service request queues.
    • Assist with maintaining the Service Operations Catalogue and proactively engage with the wider team to understand which processes can be brought into Service Operations.
  • Defining, Creating, and Implementing New Service Operations
    • Analyze dashboards and tickets for service task opportunities.
    • Own the analysis and documentation of new processes.
    • Evaluate and improve existing Service Operations tasks, including assisting with service request automations.
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Embed a Continuous Improvement mindset within the team.
    • Understand how our processes support or hinder client success.
    • Suggest alternative ways of working or initiate projects to address process gaps.
  • Other Key Responsibilities
    • Have an awareness of and be proficient in executing and adhering to department processes.
    • Work within a team environment, helping colleagues to achieve team goals.
    • Collect information relating to client requirements through IT Service Management tooling.
    • Undertake administrative tasks needed to deliver support services to clients.
    • Escalate or engage with Technical Support, Development, Client Environment Management, and Service Delivery Management teams as required.
    • Develop an understanding of customers' business and operational environments.
    • Assist with creating help centre articles and internal training materials to support business and technical understanding.
    • Raise any risks with senior management or via standard process.
    • Ensure clients' data is secure and properly managed.
Requirements
  • Qualifications
    • A formal tertiary qualification, preferably in computer science, business information systems, or other subjects involving technical analysis.
    • ITIL v4 Foundation certification.
    • Lean Six Sigma Yellow certification.
  • Experience
    • 2+ years in a customer-facing support role, ideally in the IT sector.
  • Skills
    • Strong attention to detail.
    • Able to communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.
    • Ability to follow and adhere to documented instructions, processes, and standards.
    • Strong process documentation skills.
    • Motivated and self-starting.
    • Able to manage own workload and manage expectations of stakeholders.
    • Confidence to seek support of peers and management as required.
    • Good grasp of Microsoft Office and Sharepoint.
    • Mentoring or coaching junior team members.

  • Exposure to Programming Languages and Technical Background
