Girling Jones is seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team in South Wales. As a key member of our commercial team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality projects and providing exceptional service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Commercially responsible for estimating costs, quantities, and project timelines
  • Liaise with clients to identify their needs and provide tailored solutions
  • Estimate quantities, costs, and time scales for material and labor
  • Prepare tender and contract documents
  • Identify and weigh up commercial risks
  • Assign work to subcontractors
  • Value completed work, manage budgets, and oversee payments
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the civil engineering sector
  • Familiarity with NEC contracts
  • Construction-related qualification
  • Experience in highways maintenance and traffic management schemes
  • Driven, motivated, and positive individual
