Position Overview: We are seeking applications for a full-time Senior Clinical Fellow in Acute Medicine, who will also participate in the General (Internal) Medicine on-call rota at an ST3 or equivalent level.

Role Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be stationed at a leading healthcare facility and will have the opportunity to enhance their expertise in Acute Medicine. The team is dedicated to supporting the development of independent skills in urgent care procedures within a specified timeframe.

Training and Development: The training experience will mirror that of our Specialty Registrars in Acute Medicine, providing comprehensive supervised training and access to regional educational opportunities, albeit without a formal training number. The training provided is acknowledged for any CESR application.

Clinical Duties: The post holder will manage two general acute medicine clinics weekly and assist in the emergency procedures. The facility is accredited and has maintained high standards for over a decade, emphasizing exceptional patient care.

On-call Commitment: The role includes a commitment to the emergency on-call rota, ensuring adequate coverage and support for urgent cases.

  • Experience in acute and general medicine at CT2 or equivalent level for a minimum of 12 months within the NHS.
