Pharmacovigilance and Scientific Information Director

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Pharmacovigilance (PV) and Scientific Information (SI) Manager to join our Scientific Affairs team at RBW Consulting.
Your Key Responsibilities- Lead Strategy Development: Drive the development and implementation of PV and SI strategies, processes, and platforms, ensuring that they align with both UK legislation and our company's global standards.
- Act as the UK National Contact Person for PV: Serve as the primary liaison with regulatory bodies, maintaining oversight of all UK PV cases, ensuring compliance, and leading the UK pharmacovigilance system master file (PSMF).
- Manage and Mentor: Oversee a team of professionals, providing leadership, mentorship, and guidance, while managing resources to ensure the accurate and timely processing of safety information.
- Ensure Compliance and Quality: Maintain and improve PV and SI processes, ensuring they are always audit-ready and compliant with GxP standards.
- Collaborate Globally: Work closely with our Global Pharmacovigilance and Medical Affairs teams to ensure that local activities support and enhance global initiatives.
- Expertise: A life science degree or qualification as a Health Professional, with 5-10 years of experience in pharmacovigilance.
- Leadership Skills: Previous line management experience and the ability to inspire and develop your team.
- Regulatory Knowledge: A thorough understanding of UK PV regulations, GvP, and industry best practices.
- Communication Skills: The ability to represent the company with external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, healthcare professionals, and industry bodies.
