About the Role

You will be responsible for conducting thorough family assessments, collaborating with the service leadership team to enhance assessment processes, and contributing to the development of staff and resident training programs. Your expertise in report writing, strong communication skills, and ability to manage a demanding workload are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive family assessments to inform care plans.
  • Collaborate with the service leadership team to improve assessment processes and outcomes.
  • Develop and deliver training programs for staff and residents.
  • Manage a reduced caseload to effectively fulfill other duties.

Essential Requirements:

  • Degree in Social Work or equivalent Diploma.
  • Social Work England (SWE) registration.
  • Proven experience in residential family assessment centers, community assessment teams, or conducting assessments.
  • Excellent report writing and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in court report writing.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with parents and children.
  • Strong analytic and evaluation skills.
