We are seeking an experienced and passionate Early Years practitioner to join our team at Little Waves Community Nursery. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to our children, aged 0-4 years old.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver outstanding learning and care in a fun, safe environment, giving all children a positive and successful start in life.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide a nurturing and stimulating atmosphere for children to thrive.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of our children.
- Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues, promoting a culture of inclusivity and respect.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of our nursery, sharing ideas and best practices to enhance the quality of our provision.
- Level 3 or above qualification in Early Years and Care.
- English and Maths GSCE Grade C or above (or equivalent).
- Experience of working in an Early Years environment and providing outstanding care and provision.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- The ability to build relationships and work in partnership with children and families.
- Knowledge and understanding of both child protection/safeguarding and working inclusively with vulnerable and disadvantaged groups.
