POSITION OBJECTIVE:

To assist GRS Group in achieving its goal of becoming the preferred supplier of bagged aggregates in the region, while adhering to health and safety regulations to support our commitment to Zero Harm.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Operate semi-automatic bagging machinery, including conducting pre-shift safety inspections.
  • Safely manage mobile plant operations.
  • Perform production checks to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
  • Conduct basic maintenance tasks, including greasing and cleaning of equipment.
  • Work safely and promote the company's Zero Harm initiative.
  • Carry out any other reasonable tasks as assigned.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • No prior experience with equipment is necessary, as comprehensive training will be provided.
  • A familiarity with GRS Group's core values is beneficial.
  • Strong commitment to health and safety practices.
  • Excellent punctuality and time management skills.
  • A willingness to learn and grow within the role.
  • Ability to integrate effectively into an established team.
  • Capability to assess tasks and implement necessary safety measures before starting work.
  • Adherence to safety guidelines set by GRS Group and the industry.
  • FLT License is preferred but not mandatory.
