POST Recruitment is seeking an experienced Key Account Manager to join our team. As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our clients, identifying new business opportunities, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct regular account reviews to understand customer needs and provide value-added solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with new products and services, and communicate these to customers in a clear and concise manner.
- Meet or exceed sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Utilize a consultative sales approach to understand customer requirements, provide insights, and recommend solutions.
- Provide exceptional customer service, including product support and training.
- Stay informed about market trends and challenges, and use this knowledge to support customers.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions in our CRM database.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including Area Sales Managers, Account Managers, and Head Office Support.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a field-based Key Account Manager role.
- Proven track record of selling services rather than tangible products.
- Experience working with complex data and planning sales territories.
- B2B sales experience is essential.
- Ability to apply a sales methodology, such as Challenger, SPIN, or SNAP.
- Competitive basic salary of £45,000 - £50,000 (dependent on experience).
- Fully expensed company car.
