Job Title: Education Support Specialist
**Job Summary:**
We are seeking an experienced Education Support Specialist to join our team at a good-rated school in the Bourne End area of Buckinghamshire. The successful candidate will have a passion for supporting students with Special Learning Difficulties (SLD) and a strong commitment to creating a nurturing and inclusive environment.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Support students with reading, writing, and numeracy skills
* Provide a positive learning atmosphere and manage challenging behavior
* Collaborate with the teacher to create and deliver activities
* Record students' progress and provide feedback to the teacher
* Tutor students on a 1:1 or small group basis
**Requirements:**
* Previous experience working with students with SLD or a willingness to develop skills
* Good knowledge of SEN and a passion to develop
* Ability to manage challenging behavior
* Commitment to working fixed days, full or part-time
* Clear and valid DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
* Relevant training to support students with learning difficulties
