Puro Accountancy is proud to partner with a prominent accountancy firm in search of a skilled Senior Audit Consultant to enhance their team in Walsall. In this role, you will take charge of managing and directing audit assignments for a varied client base.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and execute audit assignments, including the planning, implementation, and completion of audit fieldwork in line with International Standards on Auditing.
  • Ensure timely completion of all audit tasks within budget while upholding exceptional quality standards.
  • Draft and review audit reports, management letters, and other key deliverables for client presentation.
  • Foster and maintain robust relationships with clients, understanding their requirements and identifying potential for additional services.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff, encompassing training, performance evaluation, and career advancement.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and changes in auditing standards, proactively sharing insights with the team.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • ACA/ACCA qualification or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of experience in external audit within a professional services context.
  • Strong technical expertise in auditing and accounting standards, including IFRS and UK GAAP.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, with a talent for building strong client and team relationships.
  • Demonstrated capability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Experience in mentoring and developing junior team members.
