We are seeking a compassionate and caring Care Assistant to join our team at Bridgewater Manor Care Centre. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs are met.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver person-centred care to residents, supporting them to enjoy a good quality of life.
- Contribute to the efficient and effective running of the care home, working collaboratively with the care team.
- Assist residents with their physical, emotional, and spiritual care needs, in line with agreed care plans.
- Contribute to the daily records of residents, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
- Take responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of adults, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Experience as a Care Assistant in a care environment, preferably in a residential or nursing setting.
- Care certificate or equivalent, or a willingness to achieve this within the first 12 months of employment.
- Good knowledge of care practice, particularly in relation to the care of older people.
- Ability to work in a team, demonstrating self-motivation and confidence.
