If you are a motivated, adaptable, and seasoned electrician or electrician's mate eager to join a high-achieving engineering team, we have the perfect position for you.

Responsibilities of the Electrical Shopfitter include:

  • Performing LED lighting installations both during regular hours and outside of standard hours, adhering to the project timeline.
  • Completing and submitting all necessary documentation and certifications punctually.
  • Conducting preliminary surveys to ascertain precise stock requirements on a site-by-site basis.
  • Communicating with the Project Manager regularly to provide updates on scheduled tasks.
  • Receiving deliveries from various suppliers, including rental and waste management companies.
  • Possessing comprehensive knowledge of the contract, drawings, and specifications pertinent to the project.
  • Facilitating the handover of all completed work to the site manager upon project completion.

In exchange for your dedication and expertise, you will receive:

  • A base salary of £39,000 plus travel expenses.

The ideal candidate for the Electrical Shopfitter role at phs Group will possess:

  • The ability to work 40 hours per week or more, including evening and twilight shifts as project demands dictate.
  • Willingness to travel and stay away from home as required.
  • A valid UK manual driving license for at least 12 months (subject to insurance conditions), with a maximum of 6 penalty points.
  • NVQ Level 3 and City & Guilds 2360/2365 Level 3 Diploma/2330 qualification.
  • City & Guilds 2391/2394 & 2395 inspection and testing (desirable).
  • City & Guilds 18th Edition qualification is mandatory.
  • IPAF 3a & 3b certification.
  • A good level of IT proficiency.
  • Experience in electrical installation/project work, particularly in commercial lighting upgrades.
  • Understanding of Health and Safety regulations in the workplace.
  • The successful candidate must meet the criteria for an enhanced DBS check.
