Job Summary

Streamline Search is seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, and testing laser systems at customer sites to ensure they meet operational standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Configuration: Install and configure laser systems at customer sites, ensuring they meet operational standards.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Conduct routine preventive maintenance to ensure the optimal performance of equipment.
  • Technical Support: Provide timely on-site and remote technical support to customers, diagnosing system faults and advising on corrective actions.
  • Training and Development: Train customers on the proper operation and maintenance of laser systems to ensure safe and efficient use.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of service visits, installations, repairs, and parts used.
  • Travel: Travel to customer sites (domestic and international) for installation, repair, and maintenance of systems.
Requirements
  • Communication Skills: Clear and confident communication skills are essential for this role.
  • Experience: Previous experience as a Field Service Engineer is an advantage.
  • Technical Skills: Electrical and mechanical fault finding skills are required.
  • Driving License: A full UK driving license is necessary for this role.
