Job Description

Sanctuary Personnel Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Manager to join our team in Dudley. As a Team Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of professionals who provide services to children, young people, and their families.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Service Delivery: Ensure the delivery of high-quality services to children, young people, and their families, in line with legislation, guidance, and local policy and procedures.
  • Decision Making: Make complex decisions relating to social service provision for children, young people, and their families within Dudley.
  • Work Allocation: Manage the allocation of work in accordance with priorities, ensuring that assessments, care plans, and reviews are implemented where required and that all statutory timescales are met.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with partner agencies, within the children's division, and in the voluntary sector to ensure multi-agency assessment, planning, intervention, and review.
  • Service Negotiation: Negotiate the provision of services with voluntary and external agencies that supports the delivery of services to children, young people, and their families.
  • Team Management: Contribute to the management of services as a member of the Children's Services Management Team.
Requirements:
  • A Social Work Degree or equivalent (DipSW, CQSW, CSS).
  • Social Work England (SWE) Registration.
  • Knowledge of UK legislation relevant to children and families.
  • Experience of working with children, young people, and their families.
