Job Title: AV Solutions Engineer

We are seeking an exceptional AV Solutions Engineer to join our Solutions Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of autonomy solutions to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with customers to define requirements and deliver tailored solutions
  • Conduct technical gap analysis and generate new feature requests where necessary
  • Develop and implement safety cases, including route analysis, risk assessments, and operational procedures
  • Perform vehicle acceptance testing and shakedown
  • Commission, calibrate, deploy, and verify compute, software, sensing, and networking components
  • Build, upgrade, and maintain AV maps
  • Monitor, debug, tune, and perform post-mortem analysis of AV systems in the field
  • Collaborate with the launch team to develop a plan for ongoing customer support
  • Develop and maintain documentation detailing software architecture, APIs, and decision flows
  • Design and implement solutions to address customer use-cases and requirements
  • Participate in regular sprint and alignment meetings to ensure efficient and timely solution delivery
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or MASc degree in computer science or robotics, or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering robotics systems in a commercial or industrial setting
  • Excellent communication and team working skills
  • Able to translate customer concepts and requirements to a technical solution or service
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in launching a robotics/autonomous product
  • Knowledge of and/or experience working with robotics, development, and engineering tools and technologies

Flexibility:
