Group Accounts Manager/Assistant ManagerWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Group Accounts Manager/Assistant Manager to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of financial reporting principles and have a proven track record in managing complex consolidation processes.
Responsibilities:- Prepare accurate and timely monthly consolidated financial statements and management reports for the Group, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards.
- Coordinate the quarterly consolidation of the Group's financial results for announcement to stakeholders.
- Oversee the annual consolidated financial statement preparation and reporting packages for submission to auditors, facilitating a smooth audit process.
- Review inter-company reconciliations on a timely basis, ensuring all items are accurately resolved and documented.
- Play a key role in the annual budgeting and business planning cycle, providing financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Assist in the preparation of the Group's annual report, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial information.
- Support the implementation of corporate exercises or proposals, such as mergers and acquisitions (M&A), equity capital market (ECM) and debt capital market (DCM) affairs, by providing relevant financial analysis and reporting.
- Liaise with company secretaries, auditors, tax agents, advisors, and regulatory authorities on compliance matters and other financial-related inquiries.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role within a multinational or large organization.
- Proven ability to manage complex consolidation processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a commitment to meeting deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Achievement-oriented and results-driven individual with a proactive approach.
- Familiarity with Bursa Listing Requirements and Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards is highly advantageous.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel, for financial consolidation and reporting purposes.
