Job Summary
Uxbridge College is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead the development and delivery of our Technical Apprenticeship programmes. As Apprenticeships Standards Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality assurance and curriculum management across the Technical Apprenticeship School.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective curriculum management strategies to ensure the delivery of high-quality apprenticeship programmes.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with employers, external bodies, and stakeholders to ensure successful apprenticeship provision and growth.
- Line manage a team of lecturers and assessors, providing guidance and support to ensure the highest standards of teaching and assessment.
- Collaborate with the WorldSkills UK Innovation Network to develop excellence in teaching and training, as well as equality, diversity, and inclusion.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, including those related to apprenticeship provision and quality assurance.
Requirements
- Level 3 qualification and a teaching qualification recognised by the FE sector (e.g. Cert Ed, PGCE, DET).
- Assessor qualifications and at least 3 years of experience in teaching or assessing.
- Experience of delivering apprenticeships and leading a team to achieve success.
- Good understanding of apprentice/learner pathways into standards and apprenticeship programmes.
